To start your perfect day in Panama City head to breakfast and coffee at Cafe Unido. This cafe is so lovely and has gorgeous tile floors. Plus they serve up a really solid cappuccino.
After a caffeine fix spend some time wandering around Casco Viejo. It is definitely a touristy part of town but that’s because of it’s charm and cute walking streets. Wander into stores and and take fun pictures.
When your wandering heart is satisfied head to Tropical Chocolate Cafe for a hot chocolate (or other chocolate treat). It is all super delicious but save room for lunch!
For lunch grab a quick lunch from the fish market (it’s walkable from Casco Viejo but will take a little bit). Make sure you check out the views from the park along the way. This city is super photogenic.
After all that boat watching get an Uber and head back to Tantalo, have dinner and a drink on their rooftop bar. They have good food (their octopus was one of the best meals I ate in South America) and a solid view (shout out to my super cool Uber driver for this recommendation!)
End the evening by heading to Pedro Mandinga, a rum distillery serving up fun and interesting cocktails in a cool vibey setting.
And there you go, a super solid day in Panama City!
